Start to Finish Remodelers is a strong advocate of implementing green building methods into any project we take on. Green building covers a vast range of methods, many of these being very simple, yet very effective.

GREEN BUILDING AND START TO FINISH REMODELERS

At Start to Finish Remodelers we utilize many different green building practices whenever possible, in both our custom homes and remodeling projects. With our custom homes, the green building process starts with the initial home design, taking into construction
management practices such as strategic window placement and minimizing material waste.

Start to Finish Remodelers uses sustainable and renewable resources and materials such as short-term growth lumber, which comes from forests that are certified to be sustainably managed. We try to install bamboo flooring, clay tile, and use recycled materials whenever possible.

Along with using green building materials, Start to Finish Remodelers builds homes that are energy efficient. We accomplish this by adding extra insulation when needed and by installing energy efficient heating and cooling systems. These types of systems include products such as solar panels, for generating solar heat or electricity, and hybrid energy heat pumps.

At Start to Finish Remodelers we understand the push to “go green” and “build green”. These types of building practices save on valuable resources, are better for our environment, our health and are more energy efficient, saving you money.
